WEEK 4 - THE TITLE

Objective: To present the suitable title.

Analysis/Procedure:

After doing some research on my final year project, I have decided the project which is:-

"Development Wind Turbine using Cooler Fan"

The brief introductory: 

"Development of wind turbine using cooler fan" is developed  to produce a wind turbine based on cooler fan, the purpose of project is to make sure there no  current waste. The wind that being bowed by the cooler fan will be used to generate electric from it. The current that being produce will be used to change a recharge able battery.

Conclusion:

My FYP supervisor Sir Saharuddin Bin Othman from the Electrical Section, has agreed with title and I can now proceed further with my project.

WEEK 3 - THE SUPERVISOR

Objective: To find and register a supervisor who can asses on my project.

Analysis/Procedure:

Today, I scouted for a lecturer to be my supervisor for my Final Year Project, preferably from the Electrical Section. Few of the preferable lecturers are unavailable to be my supervisor because the they had reached the allocated number of students for each lecturer. Luckily, Sir Saharuddin is available and quickly I asked him to be my supervisor. He agreed but only if I had a title for my FYP. The deadline for finding a supervisor extended until week 3. Hence, I have only a week for finding a title. 

Sir Saharuddin requested me to find a title with a synopsis and discuss my ideas before Friday of this week.

Conclusion:

Sir Saharudin have officially become my supervisor if and only if a have a title. Until then, I have to make a lot of research and present a few good titles to him.

WEEK 2 - 1st BRIEFING (FYP1)

Date : 11 February 2015

Day  : Wednesday

The first briefing of S1/2015 in new semester . Other candidates and I that took the Final Year Project I (FYP) attended the briefing held by a few of FYP committees at the TTL hall. Here are some of the contents obtained during the briefing:-

• All students must find the advisor of their choice.
• The FYP title must suitable and be submitted to the advisor which is then registered to the FYP website (fyp.bmi.unikl.edu.my).
• Any progresses must be reported to the advisor and recorded in a blog/logbook.
• List of title and requirement in the report. 
• The title of our project must be registered until Week 3.

In conclusion, I have understood a few of the rules and regulations about the FYP I. 

WEEK 1 - SUBJECT REGISTRATION

Beginning of semester, first week was registration for the FYP1 subject, "Final Year Project 1" code "WPB 49804" subject has been registered.
